Jessie is passionate about the heart and deeply committed to seeing people live more fully by engaging theirs. Believing your needs are as unique and valuable as your story, her therapy is grounded in Person-Centered Theory. She trusts the client to be the expert on their own life, and thus the expert in the room. Jessie’s approach to therapy is integrative and trauma-informed. While drawing from Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR and Play and Expressive Arts Therapy, her focus remains on the most powerful tool – the relationship. From her own healing journey, Jessie has come to believe we are wounded in the context of relationship, and so we heal in relationship, too.

Jessie works with individuals, couples, and groups. She especially enjoys working with those who have experienced sexual trauma, are struggling with shame, codependency, perfectionism, and burnout, or are longing for deeper and more authentic connection with self and others.

Jessie is a Dallas native who has been calling Nashville home for nearly a decade. Before counseling, she worked in the nonprofit and hospitality industries. Hospitality runs deep in her bones. Whether welcoming you with a smile at the door as you walk into the best restaurants in town or an atmosphere of safety, connection, and belonging as you take a seat on her therapy couch, Jessie’s number one goal is to welcome, host, and value the authentic you. In doing so, she hopes you’ll find a space of healing and growth to unashamedly identify your unique feelings, wants, and needs, connect more authentically with yourself and others, and wholeheartedly live the life for which you were made.
